How It all began
A year ago I was this shy girl playing a game franchise I love. I grew up playing Final Fantasy for most of my life. I loved the enchanting stories, the in depth lore tied to each character but I have always wanted to play a game where I could make a character of my own. Thats when I found FF XIV. I told myself I would never play a MMO again after WoW. Wow ruined mmo's for me. The momment I launched this game all the memoires of my childhood flooded back. I admittingly spent a bit too long on my first ever character. A moon miqo by the name of Lunafrey Nightwalker. I wasn't sure I would stay, but I did. I ended up bringing a name I use on all MMO's over. Nightressa.Loathe and behold each day I played the more the game felt like a family to me. I met some amazing people, got pulled into a rp family by Gil and Okamix Wolfy. These two are like parents to me. There is Koji and Kaito. These two people I share such a deep bond with, they have been by my side through thick and thin. Taught me how to love again, to love myself.
The Story of Nightressa
I am Nightressa but I also not Nightressa. I am the living aether creation whom has no recollection of how I was created but allI have is fond memories of the stars and the freckles all over My body that glow like the stars. Most think I am a zombie or an ascian but I don't come from eorzea. I come from somewhere beyond the stars. My home is unknown to me but I hope you want to would like to hear my story about who means the world to me.
My Story
Nightressa is what eorzeans call an "homoculus" but she has memories pre-dating before the sundering of the star. She spent her life feeling empty as if she was missing a piece. Nothing came easy to her as she grew up. No matter where she went she felt she didn't belong but she did in the end find somewhere to belong only to have it taken from her again and again as her body is un-killable. Everytime she dies she somehow comes back. Most think she is a zombie so they run as she revives.Nightressa at first had no one as she tried to find herself. She wandered aimlessly until she stumbled upon a group of people who were like a family but one big group of adventures. They quickly befriended her and she joined the group of adventures but she felt she never quite would fit in until she met a voidling named Khulan. At first there friendship was very confusing as they never interacted much but she always kept an eye out for him and developed feelings for him as they continued to talk but as time went on they drifted apart and he disappeared for awhile. She felt like there was emptiness where he once always stood. She tried to fill that void but it never quite worked out for her as she kept getting used and abused over and over by others. By the time she saw him again they had both greatly changed.That day Nightressa decided she could no longer be apart from him and wished to keep the one person she thought would be by her side always. She took him aside and asked him if he liked anyone which he said he wasn't sure if he did and he asked her the same and she said "I am looking at the one I like." Since that day they became more than just distant friends. They became lovers and soon bonded. He was her sun and she was his moon. Always chasing one another.Another person Nightressa befriended was a man named Rune Ulf. During the time period her bonded was gone from her life she wandered eorzea trying to find a place in the world. Rune found her passed out in the snow with monsters surrounding her and brought her to his home to warm up but realized she was dead. Rune went outside to dig her a grave but when he returned he saw her sitting up. As he thought she turned into a zombie he stabbed her with his sword and her body went limp. He thought this time she truly was dead but it wasn't the case as she gasped for air and jumped back ready to attack again as she screamed for him to stop and listen. Dumbfounded by now the talking corpse he found he stood across the room as she explained herself. Rune at first not believing her she pulled the sword out of her gut and asked if he wanted proof. Alarmed by her sudden movement he was ready to attack again but instead in front of him she sliced her arm clean off and it instantly dissipated into aether and her arm instantly grew back right before his eyes. He called her an ascian but she sternly told him that she wasn't.
After he calmed down she asked if she could stay for awhile while she recovered her aether and strength as her reviving takes a toll on her aether. Rune agreed but on the condition she helped him clear out some monsters who attacked her and others who used the roads. During her recovery she befriended him and there relationship grew to what people would call siblings and others who met them thought they were. After her recovery and dealing with the monsters she promised they would meet again and share a beer over their stories and they always do when they meet.
Khulan Nakamura
Khulan I met on FFXIV when I first started. I've liked him since I pretty much started the being active in the rp community but never had the balls to ask him out or the fact he was always taken or just gone. I've watched him go through so much heartbreak it tore me apart inside that I could never be there to truly help him get through it. A year later. December 27 2020, we became offical. I took a leap a few days before pretty much showing i liked him by playing a little game on him. I told him I was targeting the one I liked. It took him a second to realize it was him. We've been inseparable since. I love you Khulan, my little shit. Your are my sun and I am your moon. Always chasing one another. โฅp.s Your Amazing.~
